The activated carbon stage in the drinkpure filter binds chlorine and other substances that cause unpleasant odours and a metallic aftertaste. The result: water that simply tastes neutral and fresh.
Unlike reverse osmosis systems, the important minerals like calcium and magnesium are retained. So your water stays fully-fledged drinking water. Just without the things that don't belong in it.

A 1.5-litre PET bottle weighs around 30 grams. So with 500 litres of filtered tap water you already save 10 kg of PET. An entire drinkpure filter, by comparison, weighs about 100 grams.
With drinkpure you save over 99% plastic per filtered litre. That has an impact on your CO₂ footprint: bottled water produces many times the emissions of tap water during production, bottling and transport.
