What is DrinkPure Home with kitchen sprayer?
DrinkPure Home is an innovative water filter that can be placed directly onto your tap. With its 4-in-1 technology, it effectively reduces pollutants and noticeably improves the taste.
The version with kitchen pull-out sprayer additionally includes a high-quality standard ½’" kitchen sprayer with an integrated quick coupling. Important: the filter is identical to the normal DrinkPure Home.
With the normal DrinkPure Home, the quick coupling sits on the tap.
With Home with kitchen sprayer, the quick coupling is integrated into the kitchen sprayer – so you can use the sprayer with or without the filter as needed. In both versions, the filter can be coupled or uncoupled in seconds, completely without tools. In addition, right on the sprayer you can conveniently switch between a powerful shower spray and a gentle soft jet at the push of a button.
The filter was developed at ETH Zurich and contains a patented, TÜV-tested membrane produced in Switzerland.
Who is it suitable for?
In short: for almost every household with a faucet including a kitchen pull-out sprayer. You can install the kitchen sprayer with the drinkpure Home filter yourself in a short time – without a specialist company. This is particularly practical in rented apartments, since no permanent changes to the faucet are needed. The filter is identical to the normal DrinkPure Home.
The version with kitchen pull-out sprayer is especially suitable for anyone who wants flexible use of their tap. It's compatible with standard ½’’ hoses and allows you to use the sprayer with or without the filter as needed.
Is it tested and certified?
Yes – every component of the DrinkPure Home is extensively tested and subjected to independent laboratory tests. We are 100% transparent about it - you'll find all the lab results a little further down for download.
Our filters were tested according to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 401, and additionally tested according to ISO 22196 and EN 13443-1. The materials were examined by TÜV Rheinland and SGS, and the effectiveness independently confirmed by Eawag.
The core technology is our specially developed membrane. It was designed by us in Switzerland at ETH Zurich and continuously developed further. We still produce our membrane in Switzerland today.

Ion exchanger
The ion exchanger effectively reduces limescale, makes your water softer and improves the taste. It also binds heavy metals such as lead and copper and thus protects your health.

The robust pre-filter serves as the first line of defence. It effectively catches coarse particles such as sand, rust and other suspended matter and thus protects the subsequent finer filter layers from premature clogging.

Microfiltration membrane
Our patented high-performance membrane is the heart of the filter. It forms an ultra-fine physical barrier that reliably catches microplastics (0.4 – 0.6 µm) and over 99.9999% of all bacteria (e.g. E. coli). This ensures demonstrably purest water quality.

Activated carbon
The high-quality activated carbon effectively binds chlorine, organic contaminants, medication residues and traces of pesticides by means of adsorption. This gives your drinking water a neutral, fresh taste and a pure smell.
What sets us apart from other filters.
Unlike most other filters, drinkpure is a membrane filter. Many conventional filters rely primarily on activated carbon. Our system, on the other hand, uses a precise membrane that acts as a physical barrier. Complemented by activated carbon and a pre-filter, you get effectively purified water.
Pitcher filter
Jug filters offer a rudimentary filtration that is usually limited to chlorine and coarse sediments. They do not reliably remove microplastics, bacteria or pesticides. A major disadvantage is the standing waterin the jug, which at room temperature can promote the formation of bacteria. In addition, the slow filter process requires constant refilling and waiting for filtered water. The DrinkPure filter, on the other hand, delivers ultra-pure water immediately and directly from the tap thanks to its patented filtration solution. This system effectively eliminates microplastics, bacteria (over 99.9999% reduction) and various chemical trace substances, which is proven by independent tests. There is no standing water and no waiting times.
Reverse osmosis
Reverse osmosis systems do filter extremely finely and remove almost all dissolved substances from the water. A major disadvantage, however, is that in doing so they also eliminate all natural minerals that are valuable for the body, which neutralizes the taste and can make re-mineralization necessary. In addition, RO systems are expensive to purchase and install, produce large amounts of wastewater(often 3-4 liters of wastewater per liter of drinking water) and changing the filter is complex and time-consuming. The DrinkPure filter offers anexceptionally high protective effect against the most relevant pollutants like microplastics, bacteria and chemical trace substances, without removing the natural minerals. The water stays pure, fresh and vital. Unlike RO systems, the DrinkPure filter produces no wastewater at all, is considerably more affordable, and easier to install and maintain.
UV-C filter
V-C systems inactivate microorganisms (bacteria, viruses) by means of ultraviolet radiation and are effective at disinfection. However, they are not filters in the conventional sense: they don't remove physical impurities like microplastics, sediments, rust or suspended solids. Chemical trace substances, chlorine, odors or off-tastes also remain in the water. Their effectiveness depends heavily on the clarity of the water, and they always need a power supply. The DrinkPure filter on the other hand offers a multi-stage physical filtration. It removes microplastics, bacteria (proven over 99.9999%), chemical trace substances and improves the odor and taste of the water – all in one step and without needing power. While UV-C disinfects the water, DrinkPure cleans your water holistically of a broad range of visible and invisible impurities.
Bottled water
Regularly buying bottled water is associated with considerable physical effort (lugging, storage) and high ongoing costs. On top of that, it represents an enormous burden on the environment: millions of tons of plastic waste and high CO2 emissions are the result. The quality of bottled water is also not always guaranteed, and current studies show that even bottled water can often itself contain microplastics. With us, the replacement filter sets always consist of one filter cartridge and 3 Ion Pads.
The replacement filter is changed every 2 months, the Ion Pad every 20 days. So one replacement filter set lasts for 2 months and 500 liters of water.
The simplest and most affordable way is our filter subscription - here each liter of water costs you the equivalent of just 4 cents.

So one set supplies you with fresh and healthy water for 2 months.
Why replacement filters and ion pads?
The replacement filter itself consists of the pre-filter, our patented membrane and the activated carbon. These components have a lifespan of 2 months in total.
The Ion Pads are small pouches of ion exchange material; this material serves both for descaling and for removing heavy metals. The Ion Pads have to be replaced every 20 days. That's why they are packaged separately.
Each replacement filter set contains, in addition to the replacement filter cartridge itself, 3 Ion Pads. So the set supplies you with fresh water for 2 months.

The drinkpure filter subscription
With the filter subscription you always have fresh water without having to think about it yourself.
Every two months we automatically send you a replacement filter set consisting of one cartridge and three Ion Pads to your home.
The cartridge is changed every two months, the pads every 20 days. This keeps the filtration performance at the highest level at all times.
One set is enough for up to 500 liters of water – which corresponds to costs of only €0.06 per liter and is thus considerably cheaper and more sustainable than bottled mineral water. The subscription costs €29.80 every 2 months, saving you 25% compared to a one-off purchase.
Of course you stay flexible: There's no contract commitment and no notice period. If you want to end the subscription, you can do that yourself anytime and easily in your customer account.

What is a filter subscription?
With our filter subscription you automatically receive a replacement filter set conveniently by post to your home every two months. This way you always have fresh water without having to think about it yourself.
The subscription costs €29.80 per month. That way you save 25% compared to buying individual replacement filter sets.
With each replacement filter set you can filter up to 500 liters of water. That corresponds to approx. €0.06 per liter of drinking water.
Billing takes place every 2 months, and delivery also follows a two-month rhythm. You always receive a set that is exactly enough for two months.

How is the DrinkPure Home filter constructed?
The DrinkPure HOME filter works in 4 stages:
1. Ion Pads: reduce limescale and heavy metals (e.g. lead, copper) and improve the taste.
2. Pre-filter: holds back coarse particles like sand, rust, dirt or microplastics.
3. Membrane (0.3 microns): filters bacteria, viruses, microplastics and the finest particles.
4. Activated carbon: binds organic pollutants, chlorine, drug residues, pesticides and PFAS. Removes odors and noticeably improves the taste.
Minerals like calcium and magnesium remain in the water.
Can I filter hot water with DrinkPure Home?
With the DrinkPure HOME you can also use mixed water. However, we recommend not filtering water above 65 °C. The filter works like a mechanical sieve and filters reliably regardless of temperature.
Please note: hot water often contains more deposits. As a result, the filter can clog more quickly and the flow rate can drop. The filter performance itself is retained.
Is limescale filtered?
The Ion Pads in the DrinkPure HOME only slightly reduce the limescale content, so that the water tastes softer and coffee and tea, for example, develop better. This isn't complete decalcification – important minerals stay in the water. Anyone who wants complete decalcification needs a decalcification system at the building's water inlet.
What materials are used and does the filter release any chemicals?
The DrinkPure HOME filter is made of food-safe materials that are approved for contact with drinking water: filter membrane, activated carbon, Ion Pads and housing parts made of high-quality plastic or stainless steel.
No chemicals are released into the water. The filter works purely mechanically and is chemically neutral.
Are minerals retained in the water?
Yes, with the DrinkPure HOME filter the important minerals such as calcium and magnesium largely remain in the water.
What happens during first use (black water) and is it safe?
It's normal for activated carbon dust to come out on first use. This is a sign that the filter is new and unused. The dust has to be rinsed out. The activated carbon is harmless.
How does the quick coupling work?
The quick coupling is designed so that you can attach and detach the filter effortlessly, without using screws or tools. A rubber ring ensures that no water leaks out once the filter is clicked in. This way you can quickly switch between filtered and unfiltered water.
What's included in the delivery?
Included in the standard scope of delivery are the filter housing, the quick coupling with standard connections (M22/M24), a replacement filter set (cartridge + 3 Ion Pads) as well as the wall mount.

What's the difference between Transparent, Black, and Steel?
Transparent: BPA-free plastic housing with viewing window, light and practical.

Why does a TDS meter show no change?
A TDS meter only measures the sum of all dissolved solids (minerals, salts, ions), but not pollutants, microplastics or bacteria. Since minerals such as calcium and magnesium stay in the water, the TDS value barely changes – even if the filter reliably removes pollutants.
What sets DrinkPure Home apart from other water filters?
The DrinkPure water filter combines four filtration stages in one compact system: Ion Pads, pre-filter, membrane and activated carbon. It's easy to install, needs no specialist company and is made entirely in Switzerland.
Does the filter get germy when not in use?
A small amount of silver is bound into the activated carbon in the filter. This silver acts antibacterially and inhibits the growth of germs. As a result, the filter stays hygienic even during longer periods of non-use. So you don't have to replace the filter immediately if it's only used occasionally.

Why does the filter leak after changing the cartridge?
Usually it's due to incorrect assembly or deposits. Make sure the threads are clean and screwed tight, but not over-tightened. Clean the seals if necessary and grease them with Vaseline or silicone grease.
How can I test my drinking water?
The most accurate are professional analyses by specialised water laboratories. There you can have your tap water specifically tested for pollutants.
Can I drink water from any source?
No. The DrinkPure filter is developed for tap water and reduces pollutants, microplastics, bacteria and viruses in it. It doesn't replace unsafe natural or heavily polluted water – full treatment is necessary here.
What do I do if the standard connectors (M22/M24) don't fit?
Further adapters or extensions are available on request. Unscrew the aerator, measure the diameter and send a photo to our customer service.
Which faucets is DrinkPure not compatible with?
Not suitable for low-pressure faucets or special custom faucets.
What happens to the water pressure or flow after installation?
Since the water runs through several filter layers, the flow drops a little. Typically, with a new filter it's between 1,0 and 5,0 litres per minute – depending on the pipe pressure. The filter performance stays consistently high.
How exactly does the filter subscription work?
Every two months you automatically receive a replacement filter set (one cartridge + three Ion Pads). The cartridge is changed every two months, the pads every 20 days.
How often does delivery and billing happen?
Delivery and billing take place every 2 months. Each replacement filter set always lasts exactly 2 months.
How can I cancel, pause, or change the details of my subscription?
Quite simply online in your customer account. There's no notice period.
What payment options are there?
For the subscription, PayPal, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Union), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay are available. For individual purchases, Klarna is also available. We don't offer bank transfer or advance payment.
How does shipping work, how long does it take, and does it cost anything?
We ship on working days within 1–2 days. Shipping is free.
How does the return work and what should I bear in mind about the hygiene packaging?
You can send the order back within 14 days, as long as the hygiene packaging is unopened. Opened filters are excluded from return for hygiene reasons. The customer bears the return shipping costs.
